Every year, Bakersfield Boxing Academy brings the community together through exciting USA Boxing–sanctioned shows. As proud members of the Central California Association, our events give young fighters from Bakersfield and beyond the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of family, friends, and supporters.
In spring of 2025, we hosted our second annual Bakersfield Brawl on June 1. The event featured 19 action-packed fights and 19 championship belts and drew a crowd of over 350 people—making it one of our most successful shows yet.
FIGHTS IN THE BREWERY
This year also marked the launch of our newest event, Fights in the Brewery, held in partnership with a local venue. The inaugural show brought together more than 200 spectators and featured 19 thrilling matchups with 19 championship belts awarded.
We love hosting these events for our city. They not only highlight the hard work and dedication of our own fighters but also provide opportunities for athletes from other local gyms to shine. With each show, our goal is to continue building tradition, pride, and opportunity for Bakersfield’s boxing community—and we look forward to many more events in the years to come.
Bakersfield Brawl
Our annual event, Bakersfield Brawl, has already delivered two incredible shows featuring over 20 fights, each ending with championship belts for the fighters. We’ve brought in some of California’s most competitive athletes, including national champions, to put on exciting matchups in front of crowds of 250+. All proceeds support our gym, making this event a tradition we proudly continue each year.
